Das internationale https://www.medunigraz.at/doktoratsstudien/phd-program\">PhD-Programm an der Medizinischen Universität Graz bietet eine multidisziplinäre, hochmoderne Doktoratsausbildung, die durch unabhängige Forschung zur Entwicklung der biomedizinischen Wissenschaften beiträgt.

Das PhD-Studium „https://www.medunigraz.at/doktoratsstudien/phd-program/molmed\">Molekulare Medizin“ bietet eine interdisziplinäre Forschungsausbildung in allen Forschungsbereichen der Med Uni Graz mit dem Ziel, Wissenschafter*innen auszubilden, die eine Brücke zwischen biomedizinischer Grundlagenforschung und präklinischer und klinischer Wissenschaft schlagen.
Das vom FWF und der Med Uni Graz finanzierte PhD-Programm „https://www.medunigraz.at/doktoratsstudien/phd-program/timo\">Translationale Immunologie und Metabolismus in der Onkologie” (TIMO) ist ein auf Krebserkrankungen ausgerichtetes, translationales Ausbildungsprogramm mit Schwerpunkt auf Krebsstoffwechsel und Antitumorimmunität, das unter gemeinsamer Betreuung von präklinischen und klinischen Forscher*innen durchgeführt wird, um eine fundierte translationale Ausbildung sowohl für Mediziner*innen als auch für Grundlagenwissenschafter*innen zu gewährleisten.
Das vom FWF und der Med Uni Graz finanzierte PhD-Programm „TRP-abhängige Kationensignalisierung\" (TRPC) untersucht die Dysregulation von TRP-Ionenkanälen bei Lungen-, Herz- und Hirnerkrankungen unter Verwendung interdisziplinärer Ansätze, die von computergestützten Modellen bis hin zu In-vivo-Experimenten reichen, um das Verständnis der Krankheitsmechanismen zu verbessern.
