}, "short": "UESSP", "url": null, "abstract": { "de": "Uterussarkome sind mit 2-5% aller Uterustumoren als die seltensten Tumorentitäten des weiblichen Genitaltraktes zu betrachten. Innerhalb dieser Gruppe entfallen weniger als 15% auf endometriale Stromasarkome (ESS), weshalb die Pathogenese dieser mesenchymalen Neoplasien bisher sehr schlecht verstanden ist.\r\n\r\nEndometriale Stromasarkome zeigen ein invasives Tumorwachstum in das umliegende Myometrium. Die betroffenen Patientinnen sind meist zwischen 42-58 Jahre alt. Die Tumoren treten oft prämenopausal auf. Es kommt sehr häufig zur Rezidivbildung, sowohl im Uterus, als auch in anderen Organen (Lunge, Knochen usw.). Bei sogenannten low-grade endometrialen Stromasarkomen liegt die Rezidivrate in den ersten 10 postoperativen Jahren bei etwa 30-50%, bei high-grade endometrialen Stromasarkomen kommt es oft, bereits in den ersten 2 Jahren nach Diagnose des primären Tumors, zur Rezidivbildung. Gegenwärtig ist die einzige Behandlungsoption eine operative Entfernung des Tumors bzw. der Absiedelungen in den betroffenen Organe (Uterus, Eierstöcke mit Eileitern usw.). \r\n\r\nChemotherapie, Hormontherapie und Strahlentherapie haben bisher keine befriedigenden Ergebnisse gezeigt. \r\n\r\nWir wollen die molekularbiologischen Grundlagen dieser seltenen Tumoren analysieren und verstehen. We will concurrently use the trial data, samples and cohorts to increase our understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms leading to enhanced diabetes and obesity risk to mother and baby.
