Biologische Proben und Daten werden daher auch\r\nals die Schlüsselressource für den Fortschritt in Medizin und Biotechnologie gesehen (OECD 2001).\r\nDie nachhaltige Erschließung dieser Schlüsselressourcen soll durch die pan‐europäische\r\nForschungsinfrastruktur BBMRI‐ERIC mit dem Hauptquartier in Graz/Österreich sichergestellt\r\nwerden. Therefore, biological samples are considered as the key resource for the\r\nadvancement of medicine and biotechnology (OECD 2001). The sustainable exploration of this key\r\nresource should be assured by the pan‐European research infrastructure BBMRI‐ERIC with its\r\nstatutory seat and executive management office in Graz/Austria.
