StoryAidEU ist ein Erasmus+ gefördertes EU-Projekt, an welchem die Med Uni Graz als Partnerin beteiligt ist. Es handelt sich hierbei um die Entwicklung eines interprofessionellen Modells zur Aus- und Weiterbildung von Gesundheitsprofessionist*innen mithilfe des Storytelling-Ansatzes.
Wenn Sie eine Fachkraft im Gesundheitswesen, ein*e Pädagog*in und/oder ein*e Student*in sind, und ein neues, interprofessionelles Modell der Ausbildung im Gesundheitswesen erforschen möchte, dann ist StoryAidEU das richtige Projekt für Sie. Unsere Endergebnisse sind ein Ausbildungsleitfaden/Kursbuch, Lernvideos und ein interaktiver Vortrag, der erklärt, wie das Geschichtenerzählen den Humanismus im Gesundheitswesen verbessern kann. Die Teilnahme an der virtuellen Veranstaltung wird freundlicherweise durch das Erasmus+ Programm der Europäischen Union ermöglicht.

on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), we would like to cordially invite you to join the virtual event “EMBL and Austria: A Forward Look”. In this workshop, we will cover the existing links between EMBL and the Austrian scientific community, explore new synergies, and encourage close cooperation in the future, especially in the area of Planetary Biology.
As part of its new 2022-2026 Programme Molecules to Ecosystems, EMBL will build upon its strengths in fundamental molecular biology research, whilst also expanding into ambitious new scientific directions, including Planetary Biology – a special focus of this event. EMBL will lead the first pan-European molecular biology programme for environmental and human health. With Austria and other EMBL member states as key partners, EMBL will conduct innovative molecular research that understands life in its environment at the molecular level, and provides the fundamental research needed to help develop transformative approaches to the threats posed by climate change, loss of biodiversity and pollution.
Challenges of this magnitude cannot be tackled by one country nor by one scientific discipline. To Austria and its other member states, EMBL proposes a unique collaborative model for the life sciences that allows to coordinate and truly integrate molecular-level ecosystems research across national and disciplinary borders. This virtual event will explore the scientific complementarities with the Austrian community, and discuss opportunities to expand existing collaborations and create new scientific links.

Wir freuen uns nach einer pandemiebedingten „Summer School“-Pause, unser neues universitäres Fort- und Weiterbildungsangebot präsentieren zu dürfen. Wir haben die Zeit der Einschränkungen dazu genützt, in Kooperation mit Industriepartnern eine zukünftig ganzjährig aktive „Post-Graduate Dental School“ der Medizinischen Universität Graz einzurichten.
Im Sinne anhaltender Hygiene- und Schutzrichtlinien planen wir im Sommer den Start zunächst mit teilnehmerbeschränkten, aber fachlich umso attraktiveren Sommer-Workshops und Webinaren. Abhängig von der weiteren Pandemieentwicklung werden wir im Rahmen dieser Post-Graduate Dental School, schrittweise und nachhaltig über das gesamte Jahr in allen Fachbereichen der Zahnmedizin entsprechende Fort- und Weiterbildungen anbieten.
In unserer Wahrnehmung besteht besonders nach dieser langen Zeit der Einschränkung, dringender Bedarf nach fachlicher Weiterbildung im Rahmen von Präsenzveranstaltungen, abseits von Online-Angeboten. National und international renommierte Fachexpert*innen werden zu Themen, welche vom Mikrobiom über Photoimmunologie, Vitiligo, Resident Memory T Cells, Hereditäres Angioödem, Dermatoonkologie, Atopie, Psoriasis bis zu haut+Covid reichen, sprechen.
In Verbindung mit der Tagung haut+immuneSystem steht in diesem Jahr das Photomedizin Update 2021 der Arbeitsgruppe für Photomedizin der ÖGDV. Nationale Expert*innen werden hier in vielseitigen Referaten Neues aus der Photomedizin aufzeigen sowie in einem Phototherapie- Workshop mit Hands-on praktische Kenntnisse vermitteln.
Wieder im Format mit dabei ist auch die Veranstaltung 1x1 der Dermatologie als Workshop für Ärzt*innen der Allgemeinmedizin.

\"Psychische Erkrankungen und somatische Komorbiditäten\"Applying „good“ Research Data Management (RDM) practices and writing a Data Management Plan (DMP) according to the FAIR principles have become new requirements in the everyday scientific work for today´s researchers. This webinar will introduce you to the topic RDM & the FAIR Data Austria project. The Austrian Science Fund FWF will inform you about their general requirements on writing DMPs for a research project and you will get some insight in RDM Lab Practices from a researchers view in the life sciences. Last but not least you will get to know the services & people behind the RDM-support-units at the three BioTechMed-Graz Universities.
A DMP is THE essential tool for RDM and helps with planning the research process. It is a (living) document that describes how research data for a project will be created, managed, stored, shared and preserved, justifying any restrictions that have to be applied. In addition to the benefits of having a DMP, funders - such as the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) - increasingly require (mandatory) DMPs and sharing of research data according to the so-called FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles as funding criteria.
