Die Indikationsgrundlage zur stationären TUR-B in Narkose bildet in der Regel eine ambulant durchgeführte Zystoskopie mit daraus resultierendem Tumorverdacht. Angesichts der Beobachtung an der Universitätsklinik für Urologie in Graz, dass ein erheblicher Teil der gewonnenen Gewebeproben eine benigne Histologie aufweist, war das Ziel dieser retrospektiven monozentrischen Analyse, diese Wahrnehmung zu objektivieren.
