Veganer*innen zeigen einerseits auch höhere Serumkonzentrationen von Biomarkern des Knochenumsatzes, was ein erhöhtes Fraktur- und Osteoporoserisiko anzeigen könnte. Die physiologischerweise kontinuierlich voranschreitende Entwicklung des kindlichen Organismus kann durch eine chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankung stark beeinträchtigt werden. Um dies abwenden zu können, ist eine Kenntnis der Faktoren vonnöten, auf die im Rahmen der Therapie einer pädiatrischen CED zusätzlich geachtet werden muss. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die besonderen Herausforderungen zu beleuchten, die pädiatrische chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen sowohl für die Patient*Innen als auch für die Behandelnden mit sich bringen.
