Auch wenn die Behandlung von Tumorschmerzen eine medizinische Herausforderung darstellt, so erscheint ein adäquates Schmerzmanagement entscheidend, um das Leid der Betroffenen bestmöglich zu lindern. Zur Verbesserung der neuropathischen Tumorkomponente kommen die beiden Antikonvulsiva Pregabalin und Gabapentin zum Einsatz. Zum Einsatz der beiden Wirkstoffe bei Palliativpatient*innen liegen genauso begrenzt Daten vor wie Informationen zum Kurzzeiteffekt dieser Antikonvulsiva. Im Rahmen des Hochschullehrgangs mit Schwerpunkt Energie- und Netzplanung gewinnt die Thematik der effizienten Netzausbauplanung zunehmend an Relevanz. Diese Masterarbeit befasst sich mit der Frage, welchen Mehrwert der Einsatz neuartiger Gleichstrombetriebsmittel (DC) gegenüber klassischen Wechselstromlösungen (AC) in der Netzausbauplanung generieren kann.\r\nZiel der Arbeit ist es, ein Verfahren zu entwickeln, das Engpässe im Stromnetz frühzeitig erkennt und auf dieser Basis automatisierte Ausbaumaßnahmen vorschlägt. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf der Integration von DC-Technologien als mögliche Optimierungsstrategie. Die Methodik basiert auf einer Kombination aus fundierter Literaturrecherche, Dokumentenanalyse sowie einer mathematischen Modellierung und Simulation mit der Open-Source-Software „Pandapower“ in Python. Dazu wurde ein realitätsnahes Beispielnetz erstellt und mit drei Ausbauvarianten (Zuleitung gleicher Typ, Leitung mit größerem Querschnitt, Gleichstromleitung) simuliert.\r\nDie Ergebnisse zeigen, dass alle Varianten zu einer Verbesserung der Netzauslastung beitragen. Besonders der Einsatz von DC-Betriebsmitteln führte sowohl im kurzfristigen als auch langfristigen Vergleich zu signifikant verbesserten Auslastungswerten.
