Insektengiftallergie gehören Anamnese, Hauttests und die Bestimmung spezifischer IgE Antikörper im Serum. Leider führen diese Verfahren manchmal zu inkonkulsiven Ergebnissen. In den letzten Jahren hat sich der Basophilenaktivierungstest (BAT) als nützliche zusätzliche Methode bewährt. Ein Nachteil des BAT ist jedoch, dass durch den Grad der Zellaktivierung im Test sich kein Rückschluss auf den Schweregrad der allergischen Reaktion ziehen lässt. Ferner sind Daten verschiedener Labors kaum vergleichbar, da es kein standardisiertes Protokoll gibt. Um nun die Möglichkeiten der Allergiediagnostik zu optimieren und für den betroffen Patienten die bestmögliche Versorgung sicherzustellen ist es unerlässlich, auf diesem Gebiet nach weiteren neuen Ansatzpunkten zu suchen. Ziel des Projektes ist es daher einen auf der Expression verschiedener neuer Oberflächenmarker basierenden Basophilenaktivierungstest für die Diagnostik der Insektengiftallergie zu
